Physical Therapy
We are your advocates. Your coach. Your inspiration. Your reality check. We will take the time to actually see you, to hear you. And? We're funny too.
Physical Therapists with Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees are accessible to you without a referral. This means you have direct access to injury prevention and healing without the time and money spent at the medical doctor's office (if you are not an appropriate candidate for direct access, we will immediately refer you to the appropriate practitioner).
PT is the Art of Healing through Movement.
It's the "getting back to your life again."
It's getting better FASTER.
What is going on?
Many patients have no idea what is going on with their bodies (other than that “it hurts”) and are unable to even name their current situation.
This appointment is to provide you with the education specifically addressed to your body and what you are going through so that you can start taking control, an active role versus passive suffering.

This is a comprehensive appointment that takes the time to assess then review your diagnosis. This assessment could potentially be your only appointment.
Mindful, most MD visits average 6 minutes in the United States, this is 45-60 minutes to thoroughly review your complaint.
This time educates you regarding your diagnosis (ever left your doctor's office with the name of your diagnosis but didn't actually understand what that meant?).
Once we have reviewed your history; your past and current functional levels; and your goals, we will discuss Treatment.
Bring your medical prescription if you have one, but it is not required to attend this appointment.

After your Evaluation, maybe you can go directly home and get after your issue Independently.
If not, these appointments are 1-2 times per week (on average) with the ultimate goal of getting you home and working on your complaint Independently (taking active control over Your Body).
In this appointment, we will apply all or some of the following SPECIFICALLY to your impairments to reach YOUR goals while keeping you SAFE in the process...
-
strengthening
-
stretching
